Guest guest
Will & Rebekah, My sincere condolences on the death of your friend Cory. How lucky she was in life to be surrounded by so many people who cared for her. Guest guest
I think I came into this group the wrong way. I never really introduced myself. I am Jane Frieler and I am the local St. Cloud Chapter leader for the WAPF. I have been interested in natural health and nutrition for about nine years. I am an RN and at present out of a job. About nine years ago I had breast cancer and had my right breast removed along with all the lymph nodes (except one, I think the surgeon forgot it). A few years later I got into journaling and something kept telling me that I needed testing. I had my Dr. order a blood test called the AMAS which is a test for cancer. It is FDA approved but not a " standard of care " . I had a 134 and the lab wanted to re-test because 135 was indicative of cancer. I waited a while to see if it would raise significantly or would stay about the same. Two months later I retested and it went up to 150. My Dr. wanted to start testing me to see where it was but I said no. I wanted to go natural instead so I radically changed my diet and took a large amt of enzymes and cancer herbs along with some other nutrients. It was a difficult time for me because when you go natural, everybody thinks you're nuts and you don't get all the cards and flowers and meals you get when you go the standard care of chemo and radiation. Somehow, people do not know how to treat you or what to say. When you have surgery, it makes sense to them to tell you they are praying for you and to send cards and flowers and to come to your home with food. Nobody did any of that when I went natural. Life went on and I kept working and once in a while somebody would ask how I'm doing. Two months on this program, I was re-tested. Somehow, I know I was ok, just like I knew when there was something wrong. The test came out a 4. My husband and I thanked God and celebrated. Every day is a gift > I wanted to let those of you who have been praying along with us for CORY > HOWARD know that she died last night, March 1st, about 7:30 pm.
