Guest guest
Santino, If you are already registered with your local paratransit program, you can have them fax verification of your paratransit certification to the Queens paratransit provider and schedule a paratransit ride, though, this may be difficult at the last minute. Also, it's not unusual for paratransit to take as long as regular fixed-route buses and subways or even longer. Alana > > Hello all, > > > I am scheduled to be in Manhattan Friday to Sunday. I have a power chair. I am having a extremely difficult time trying to coordinate transportation from Queens (Shea Stadium) back to my hotel in midtown Manhattan. The public bus would be a 2 hour ride which goes all the way to lagurdia airport first, which is ridiculous. The other option would be a private service which wants $164 for the one way. Does anyone possibly know of any other services or other suggestions? Thank you. > > Santino > >
