Guest guest
Love is so very important! Should we not look whence love comes? Have you not heard it said, " Compassion whence love is born. " ? Where there is no Compassion there can be no love anymore than joy where there is no Faith. Like Faith, Compassion is also one of the seven Spirits of God that are His eyes. Walk ye in them and be seen of Him. Warning! Do not despise Faith or Compassion in the least for they are not small things. They are huge things! Scripture reveals them to be two of the seven angels of God. Doubt is one of the evil angels and it comes forth a fiery serpent bitting with the venom of fear, bringing you at some point before the prince of terror if ye keep eating of it. Eat not of this bread that ye may have life more abundant. Doubt is what keeps us from Faith. If you allow yourself to have Doubt, then you are snared and taken. Now I come to the point. There is another one of the evil angels and this one is breathing fire upon the earth as you read this. It is this one that keeps us from Compassion, whence love is born. It is Enmity that brings forth hate. I have found very few Christians that know when asked, " What is Enmity? " The simple definition is, " The spirit of an enemy " . We have all seen people like this. Have we not all of us done this thing at times? Enmity hurts the one who has it first with a burning fire. The fire that can not be quenched is distress, the penalty of which has no respect of person. So, do I lie here? Is Enmity a small thing to be cast aside. Do you not hear its cries of war ringing in your ears as you read this. Scripture shows that it is required that Enmity be abolished from you. Required! If you be free of your Doubt and receive strong Faith, it is nothing if there be hate found in you and five other things as well. Romans 8:7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. Ephesians 2:15 Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace; Ephesians 2:16 And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby: I exercise an on going vigilance for scripture that indicate the seven Spirits of God that are His eyes. This is far from complete but here is what I have so far. 23:23 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone. Zechariah 7:9 Thus speaketh the LORD of hosts, saying, Execute true judgment, and show mercy and compassions every man to his brother: Micah 6:8 He hath showed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God? Proverbs 3:3 Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart: 9:24 But let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth me, that I am the LORD which exercise lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these things I delight, saith the LORD. 1 Kings: 6 And said, Thou hast shewed unto thy servant my father great mercy, according as he walked before thee in truth, and in righteousness, and in uprightness of heart with thee; and thou hast kept for him this great kindness, that thou hast given him a son to sit on his throne, as it is this day. 6 Behold, I will bring it health and cure, and I will cure them, and will reveal unto them the abundance of peace and truth. 7 And I will cause the captivity of Judah and the captivity of Israel to return, and will build them, as at the first. 8 And I will cleanse them from all their iniquity, whereby they have sinned against me; and I will pardon all their iniquities, whereby they have sinned, and whereby they have transgressed against me.
