Guest guest
Hello Dr. Amit, No difference in therapeutic efficacy of cetirizine (antihistaminic drug) and trimetazidine (fatty acid oxidation inhibitor); (between their two preparations hydrochloride and dihydrochloride), was found documented. In two references though name cetirizine hydrochloride was given, in chemical structure 2HCl was shown as a side chain, adding to the confusion. Regards, Dr. Smita Mali GMC, Nagpur.
