Guest guest
Hi all, There has been some discussion about SSDI wait times for approval and although I do not get it myself-my husband is on SSDI....my injury to my back was after he became disabled (I originally herniated 3 discs while moving - did most of it because he was hurt and the kids were too young at the time) My husband developed RSD after knee surgery and when he applied for SSDI he got approved on his first appeal one month before the six month waiting period they have....he never saw one of their doctors....he was actually approved for his arthritis with the RSD being secondary....I know a lot of people that have not been so lucky and have had to fight for years to get approved. Guest guest
Oh good... Now, will you talk your school into bringing a performance up here? You could call it " Getting High in Humboldt " . If anyone doesn't know, this area is a huge cannabis center. (gosh, I hate having to explain a punchline...oh well). You would all have a wonderful time breathing in our lovely fresh air (provided it wasn't clouded with wildfire smoke) and taking in the beautiful scenery (no joke there...it's gorgeous). My tongue is in my cheek, but it would be really great. Roxy > > > > Hi > > > > Yes I teach flying trapeze > > > > After doing gymnastics for 35 years, it's a great change. Guest guest
I know, hard to believe. I did do a commercial a few weeks back, where I was actually paid to fly trapeze with a suit and tie on. It’s for communications. I’m not sure it’s out yet, but as soon as it is, I’ll give a link to it here. I’ve seen a “rough cut” and it looks amazing Danny Danny's Warehouse 5701 West Blvd Los Angeles, Ca 90016 323 954 8973 www.dannyswarehouse.com From: [mailto: ] On Behalf Of Klara LeVine Sent: Monday, July 28, 2008 1:12 AM Subject: Re: good morning so what's the problem?? Guest guest
Hi Sparky - My name is and I am also stage 4. From what I understand most often between 1 and 10 years of being at stage 4 our liver will fail. However you have a liver transplant as an option. I am not on a list yet and I was diagosed at stage 4 about three years ago. I still work full time (though it is getting hard) and I function quite well. I am not " sick enough " to be on a list - I am also only one year recovered from breast cancer. You have to be five years cancer free to go on the list. They are going to evaluate you based on many different things. Here in Florida you can't smoke (I quit) - have to watch your body fat - have to keep all your appointments and scheduled test - all this is taken into consideration with your health status. There are usually guide line that have to be met to go on the list - livers go to the sickest. Just do what you can to take care of yourself and be kind to your liver. No tylenol or asprin, no drinking, eat healthy, avoid stress and listen to your body. When it says rest - you need to rest. I am also going to heaven - however I am not ready to leave my family either. I lean on my church family and groups like this fourmn for support. Guest guest
Good Morning to you too Marsha, Sounds like your getting your affairs in order. It's difficult knowing what sides will do, plus, you gotta do what you gotta do. So in my case, I quit way down on work. Luckily we had someone who could fill in for me on many including physical aspects of my job. If we didn't well... we will never know. I'm grateful to have been able to rest and take long naps during treatment. Kim T.

Guest guest
Marsha I have always been a real busy body and worked hard and a lot of hours. I hav not worked since last Nov. because of other health problems. It sounded so good at first, staying ome, but for a while I was lonly but these ays it is much better. Now i enjoy me time alone at home with my dogs. I just wanted to let you know that some of us are in the same boat. Take care D From: sparky111_26003 <sparky111_26003@...>Subject: Good morningHepatitis CSupportGroupForDummies Date: Wednesday, August 20, 2008, 4:33 AM Hi group, thanks for the feedback on my last post, it helped calm my fears. I will just have to find out myself how my body reponds to the treatment. I am lucky in one way, I've been on unemployment since I was fired from my job for telling them I have hep c, in april. And since they were such butt holes, I intend to get every single penny that they paid into the fund as I can. I think I can collect till dec, or jan, so I have some time to rest and work on my health. I've managed to put on 15 lbs. since april. I always have been very thin, too thin, usually about 115lbs. I always got asked are you sick, you are so skinny, I swear if I had a dime for everytime some butt head said something like that. Anyways my husband makes decent enough money so he said I should take the whole year maybe a year and a half off. Well see how I feel then, so I figured I might as well just work on getting better, then I will go back to work. I've always worked so this is quite different for me thats probably why I'm rambling on, so just wanted to say thanks to you all. marsha

Guest guest
> > Is it legal to get fired for having hep c? > > Hoka, its not legal if you are a buisness with more than 15 employee's. I worked for a family has a full time housekeeper and chef, and they only had three employee's. I could put a civil suit against them, but the stress of it would not be good for me so I'm looking at my glass half full logic, they did me a favor, I needed a rest, I have been looking at other jobs but I'm done bustin my behind for people who don't pay or have no respect for my life, my health and my illness. If I tell any other prespective employer's, I don't get hired and if I don't tell them, I end up getting fired for calling off sick. marsha > > Good morning > > > Hi group, thanks for the feedback on my last post, it helped calm my > fears.
