PharmD course : effects on the Doctor-Pharmacist relation

PharmD course is giving the pharmacist a great deal of enthusiasm as it will definitely be a milestone in making a close connection between doctors and Pharmacists in India. it will also have a very high impact on the healthcare scenario in India if it can be fully integrated in the healthcare system in India.- on one hand it will give the Pharmacists an higher position in the healthcare then its current location.- the patients will be greatly benefitted by this new advancement as now they will be getting a professional specialized in patient counseling, TDM ,ADR etc, so the patient will be having lesser chances of any adverse action and the overall quality of health services will increase.- and the other good point is that this will free up some pressures from the doctors
