Guest guest
PharmD course is giving the pharmacist a great deal of enthusiasm as it will definitely be a milestone in making a close connection between doctors and Pharmacists in India. it will also have a very high impact on the healthcare scenario in India if it can be fully integrated in the healthcare system in India.- on one hand it will give the Pharmacists an higher position in the healthcare then its current location.- the patients will be greatly benefitted by this new advancement as now they will be getting a professional specialized in patient counseling, TDM ,ADR etc, so the patient will be having lesser chances of any adverse action and the overall quality of health services will increase.- and the other good point is that this will free up some pressures from the doctors to concentrate on there main job of diagnosis, while as of now the doctors are already having the load of the other non professional job on their head along with there specialized job.and in the country like India where we already have a low doctor: population ratio, i think this can save some time for the patients and the doctors can also provide more time for the disease diagnosis. So, even if these PharmD professionals dont get approval for prescribing for general ailments, still this course looks very promising for the Healthcare system of India.Regards, A.Rehman NagoriM.Pharm (Pharma Chem) ScholarNMIMS Univ, Mumbai Visit Pharma-World Website Add more friends to your messenger and enjoy!
