Please find details of the next round of the AusAID Leadership Awards for students from eligible countries at www.ausaid.gov.au/scholar/default.cfm You will note that applications close on 30 June 2008. At the time of application, Applicants must have an offer of admission into their nominated university. Ideally, applications for admission should be made to UniSA by 30 April 2008. It is important to note that the ALA Scholarship is assessed on a competitive basis taking into account the applicants previous academic achievement, clearly demonstrated leadership qualities and proposed study programs that relate to strengthening the development capacity of their countries. Applicants must come from countries listed in the brochure. ALAS is targeted towards potential scholars who have already demonstrated a high level of personal and academic achievement. We anticipate around 150 scholarships will be awarded in 2009 for study at Masters and Doctoral level Annette Paschke Project Coordinator QUMPRC University of South Australia Australia e-mail: apaschke@...
