We are writing in regard to Education and Training for Patient Safety Research, one of the project areas of the Research Programme of the WHO World Alliance for Patient Safety. The first meeting of the Expert Working Group was held in February 2008, and it was agreed to work on the development of core competencies and curricula to train researchers in patient safety. In the first instance, a gap analysis questionnaire is now being distributed to key informants worldwide who can identify local training needs and already existing resources to train researchers in the area of patient safety research. We would be very grateful if you could please complete this questionnaire, and also please forward this questionnaire to colleagues, as well as to networks of researchers or professionals working in the area of patient safety. To complete the questionnaire, please click on the link below: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.aspx?sm=denzNXylBJFI94aM8lKGRw_3d_3d Alternatively, there is an automated Word document attached, as well as a printable version.
