Doesn't it say in Dr. 's book that after you do a flush, you will have

the same symptoms come again because of the gallstones coming down from one

of the liver ducts into the gallbladder. I believe she says that you

probably won't be symptom free until they are ALL gone. Especially if you

are known to have larger stones.

How many have you done and what is the amount of stones and sizes of them

that you've gotten out so far?

Just curious,

You should give it more time try four more over two months before

another scan, then see the difference.

And about that 8g of fat - that's not tiny, especially as there may

well have been trans fat in the soup (hydrogenated vegetable oil),

which is the main one to avoid. Perhaps you have an allergy or

intolerance to wheat (in the soup) or milk (yoghurt). This would nt

help.

this was my 2nd flush; my 1st was unsuccessful, passed no stones at

all. I haven't read Dr. 's book; I heard about the gb flush from

a buddy's wife & my cousin, who'd both done it & recommended it. I

searched for info about it on the web and in a couple of " natural

healing " type books, and found a good bit of (sometimes conflicting)

info; about the only constant was the basic " recipe " for the

procedure.

what's funny is when I told my buddy's wife the exact procedure I

followed, she told me it didn't work 'cuz I didn't follow HER recipe

EXACTLY... whereas, when I posted to this site, I was told it didn't

work 'cuz I didn't follow some OTHER recipe EXACTLY. I tell ya', it's

almost as bad as discussing religion with some folks...

anyway, this flush got out a little more than a tablespoon of small

stones (some almost the size of a pea, most about half that size), and

probably another tablespoon of sand-grain size.

I wasn't accounting for having to do multiple flushes to clean

myself out; I was under the (apparently mistaken) impression that one

flush would do me all up just fine. I figured, though, that the volume

of stones I got out was not what I expected; the radiologist told me

my gb was packed, so I suspected right off that I hadn't gotten them

all. I'll tell you what: that's the LAST time I'm eating chicken

noodle soup after a flush!

Woody,

If your gallbladder is packed, that could be the problem. I've loaned my

book by Dr. Hulda out, but I believe she has something to say about that.

Sorry I can't tell you right now.

Its a bit like that game with sticks and marbles, or perhaps a

blocked sink drainer. Some larger ones may be stopping the others

further up from getting out. Another time you might find many. I have

found more oil is better than less and than an empty system is best

too. Keeping still immediately after taking the oil seems to help a

lot too. Also, trying to relax and not being tense. Falling asleep

quickly would help.

I am glad he had the biopsy. Sorry he is hurting so bad. That pain isn't good. Glad he has a doctors appt today so maybe he can get some answers and maybe some help. I would check into some kind of pain meds. Good luck and you are in my heart and prayers. Cinder

was up twice last night. Exactly 45 minutes each time. He had excruciating pain from the middle upper stomach area around to his back. He said he threw up the first time, and then he felt better. But woke up 3 hours later with the same pain. He said it was the worst pain he's ever felt in his life. But after the 45 minutes, he went right back to sleep and felt fine this morning. Thanks all for explaining how the viral load counts work. I had absolutely NO IDEA about the Tylenol??? Pretty upset that we weren't told that before now. We go to the doctor this afternoon, and will hopefully get the results of the liver biopsy. We are very curious to find out. If were more computer literate, I'm sure he would be on here writing, but until then he is appreciating me getting connected with all of you. Last night before we went to sleep, he said, "Lindsey, check to see if anyone wrote to us!" lol Thought it was cute.

The meds are very harsh on the stomach, espically if he has any ulcers. I wasnt much of a breakfast eater until treatment. Then I started oatmeal with a big glass of water and a tums then took my morning meds. this seemed to help alot. so make sure he eats with his meds and dont forget lots and lots and lots more water. I cant tell you how important it is. The more he drinks espically around shot time the less the side effects.

Lindsey,Sorry it's got a question mark now, but it's do-able. Remember, you've got an incredible support group here.I don't recall who said it, but I'll second it, it's very important he has something on his stomach with the riba. When I was at my worst, a cup of yogurt or a cheese stick, maybe a piece of fruit, was enough to keep my stomach settled after I took the ribavirin.Glad you got to talk to the dr today. I may be chasing my own tail, I know there's more emails here I haven't read yet today so if I'm babbling along about issues already resolved just roll the fat kid into the corner and ignore him...SteveLife is much more fun when thought of as a scavenger hunt as opposed to a surprise party. LindseyWhen my Dr. told me that my iron level concerned her, I had to laugh out loud. All my adult years until my hysterectomy, I suffered a great deal from enemia...So, I hurried home and researched this new condition online. Really, I got such a giggle from it. Before I tell you that, learning that anyone has high iron is a relatively new science. Sure, they knew about low iron; but, no research had been done on high iron.Well, I found only two reasons for a person having high iron. One was genetic! If the family history is mostly Northern European - it could happen. Well, my grandparents on both sides represent the British Isles very well. Then, guess what? My father has had high iron all his life. The second reason

for high iron is HepC !!!!I have no problem with the condition, I'm just very aware that there are some foods that I can not eat. Things such as liver, or spinach (which I can't stand cooked) and stuff like that.Gloria

OK... Doctor's Appointment went GREAT!!! Biopsy came back. He has some inflammation, and very very minimal fibrosis. The biopsy also showed that he has a fatty liver, and his liver is storing too much iron which is causing some additional inflammation (we were told this is not related to the Hep C, but possibly a genetic disorder that causes the iron storage.) So he had his TIBC, ferritin, and hemachromatosis (sp?) drawn.

And the best part of it all... We figured out what the pain was. It wasn't the medication at all. He called me from work today and said that the pain came back... And then he farted - AND IT WENT AWAY...

Apparently, it was just some serious gas pains. We went and got some extra strength gas-x. The doctor said that the medication could be causing him to be more gassy and be causing a little more indigestion. But we will keep a good eye on it to make sure it isn't a medication side-effect!!! So relieved... (and after the gas-x, so is he - LOL!!!)
