Guest guest
Do any of you have where you get bruising when you are not feeling as well? I stopped taking some natural supplements because I thought this is why it was happening. It had a mini crash last week that lasted only 2 days thankfully but I have a lot of little circle bruises. They are tender and last a couple of weeks. I am not on any of the treatments but I do take msm/glucosimine for the joint inflammation. That helps but after a year I am having to increase my dose Debra in Alaska
Guest guest
He just discharged you without any further tests? I looked it up and it said: Management Horner's syndrome is a physical sign. Management involves diagnosis of the underlying condition and treatment as appropriate. So they should be testing further to find out why you have this condition, and then treat whatever it is that is causing it. Perhaps he now expects your doctor to continue with the investigations, he, as the eye expert has just diagnosed a symptom of something, not the end product. Lilian He didn't give me any advice about it and discharged me from the clinic.
Guest guest
Hi Shelia Thanks for the links. I have looked at them. As you will know I'm going back to see that Dr at my hospital on the 12th March (as I said in a previous post). She has ruled out thyroid and is looking at fibro or ME. I'm so fed up with all of this, I have been going back and forth for the past seven years now. And I'm no further forward than then. All I seem to get is more things noticed and nothing diagnosed. I'm so down all I want to do is go to sleep and never wake up again. The eye Dr just turned and said you'll have to get your glasses changed every 6 months, don't know how he expects me to pay for them as I haven't worked or been able to claim any benefits for the past 7 years. Dr P has diag me with Hypo, but I was forced by my GP to stop the tablets that he described other wise he would not treat me. Do you know of any Dr's in the Norfolk area Shelia that I could see before its to late.
Guest guest
Hi , That was unhelpful in the extreme- you should have been told at the very least what the syndrome entails and if naything can be done to help- I'd write and complain and cc to PALS. and in the meantime do some searches to find out more as obviously you can no longer trust this uncaring person. > thyroid treatment > From: jazzie5@...> Date: Thu, 4 Feb 2010 22:29:25 +0000> Subject: Anyone have this> > I went to my eye clinic appointment yesterday.> > I have now been told that I have horners syndrome in both eyes. > > Could hypo/fibromalgia or ME cause this.> > He didn't give me any advice about it and discharged me from the clinic. I'm worried as the vision in my right eye which had the horners first is very dark and as its lazy doesn't work. So I'm worried about the effect that it will have on my good one which seems not to be very good now.> > > > > > ------------------------------------> > TPA is not medically qualified.
