Hi All,

The scale of caring, or the action of bringing myself to the fourth

scale of caring, for me is one of the key actions I have to take on a

daily basis.

Whenever I am on a dead track with my kids, like when they just don't

want to do what I want them to do.Then it's the time for me to check

out where I am on the scale of caring.

In 9 times out of 10, I will find myself on scale 3, on very bad days

(yes they do happen I must admit) even on scale 2.

The minute after I have moved myself up to the fourth scale, my family

will respond to me in a totally different way. Like: sure, you want me

to put my bag in the hall, and my shoes too and take vitamine C, well

ofcourse, consider it done, and yes I will go to sleep in time today and

have a shower, anything else you want?

Pure magic, isn't it :)

Ha, they don't know about my rabbit in the hat.

I guess, when I am different they can be too.

Try this when you're at the verge of putting your kids (and maybe your

partner too) behind the wallpaper (a Dutch saying).

Nice thing is that after doing this and checking regularly, it will

become part of your immuners' instinct.

Love you all,

Esther from Holland
