I'm curious regarding aquatics. I love the water, but don't think that I

can safely walk on the pool deck to get into the water. I have limited

leg strength and horrible balance. I'm so afraid of falling even when I

walk with my cane, and my AFO's would be out of the question on the pool

deck. Any suggestions? I also believe that cutting calories is the best

way to control weight. I follow Weight Watchers, which is a little bit

different way of counting calories through a " point " system, but it

works for me. I've been a lifetime member for nearly 3 years now. As

far as low carb/high protein diets, I don't believe in them for the long

term. Every food group is necessary for good health, and you should be

able to eat from all of them within moderation. A calorie is a calorie

is a calorie. I'm not going to give up my potatoes! K.
