Guest guest
Nidal, The Pilates I do has no machines involved. No " equipment " is needed. Mats are provided by the Fitness Center. All I do is show up for class. Pilates is more about muscles than joints, as I see it, but then I don't have joint problems. We are learning the basic movements and positions and this form of Pilates has everything to do with breathing at the right time and contracting each muscle, then release. Take a look through the Archives here for what others have said about Pilates. I work with a trainer who has extensive background in this and the class has 6 of us in it. This is what I want and need - medically supervised workouts with people who are aware of my CMT needs. ~ G
