If you have the option of buying amber, buy amber! At the very least, it

can't hurt, and it might preserve some of the nutrient value of your

dairy. And if you find amber half-gallon jugs, please share your

source. I bought glass jugs awhile ago, but the supplier was out of amber

for the whole year, and I couldn't find amber glass anywhere else either.

Amber glass jars used to be common in photo supply shops. I don't have any idea

if it still is, or if only plastic is available

I should've been more clear. You can get all kinds of amber glass jars,

but amber milk jugs with handles (gallon and half gallon) seem to be

awfully difficult to find.
