Guest guest
I tried raw steak last night for the first time, and now I feel like I'm getting sick. The steak was grass-fed and frozen for 15 days. I feel, mostly, so far, like I'm coming down with a typical cold, and it doesn't, as yet, feel like it is a digestive tract infection. Do you guys think it might be from the raw meat? The one other thing it could be, is that I had little or no coconut fat in the last four days, with the exception of two tbsp yesterday, and now I'm back to my four tbsp average (of CO). Basically, ever since the end of summer (incidentally, soon after my first of two root canals), I've been coming down with something, be it conjuntivitis, a hacking cough, or a sore throat, largely in a direct correlation with how much coconut fat I am consuming. It seems that's not the case b/c I'm becoming sick right after I _started_ eating CO again this time... but, usually you feel symtoms, I figure, after the sickness is already started. So it might be the CO. Anyone have an opinion? Has anyone on the list ever gotten food poisoning from raw meat? How do you know if you have food poisoning? Thanks, Chris
