Guest guest
I couldn't do a direct comparison to cod liver oil b/c by CLO is measured in tsp and ml, and SLO is measured in mg, but a 570 mg capsule of shark liver oil contains 125 IU vitamin D and 1250 IU of vitamin A. It looks like there would be 3 or 4 capsules in a teaspoon, but perhaps someone else knows the exact conversion. In addition each capsule yields 100 mg of alkylglycerols (AKGs) and 170 mg of squalene, which are apparently powerful immune system enhancers. I read a book a while ago that touted SLO as possibly good for cancer and AIDS and all sorts of things. I think it was called Shark Liver Oil: Nature's Natural Healer. The Vitamin A Saga article that Roman posted recently from the WAPF site mentioned shark liver as a source of Vitamin A among some non-modernized societies. The link I posted a week or so ago has shark liver oil avaiable, but at Visionquest Online you can register as a " preferred member " and get 30% off everything (kind of wierd) which makes a bottle $30 instead of $44. Chris ____ " What can one say of a soul, of a heart, filled with compassion? It is a heart which burns with love for every creature: for human beings, birds, and animals, for serpents and for demons. The thought of them and the sight of them make the tears of the saint flow. And this immense and intense compassion, which flows from the heart of the saints, makes them unable to bear the sight of the smallest, most insignificant wound in any creature. Thus they pray ceaselessly, with tears, even for animals, for enemies of the truth, and for those who do them wrong.
