Guest guest
Just made this last night, and was delicious! 8 oz whole raw milk 1 tsp vanilla extract 1 1/2 tsp carob powder pinch of white stevia powder Mix. I decided to experiment with some carob powder that I had last night, and I ended up getting this drink that tastes exactly like chocolate milk, and was very delicious. I'm estimating the carob powder at half a tablespoon, but basically you just saturate the milk with as much carob powder as will dissolve. I put in a tbsp originally, but had to skim a bunch off the top. The stevia was enough to fill about a quarter inch, maybe a tiny bit less, in a teaspoon (regular not measuring spoon). My experience with carob is that it is disgusting but can be chocolaty if it is in the right combo. Carob chips are gross to me to eat by themselves, but are great in muffins (though the chips i noticed are full of junk, unlike the powder). Stevia also can be deliciously sweet if in the perfect proportion int he right combo, but bitter int he wrong proportion and off-tasting in the wrong combo. This combo works great. There's no caffeine in the carob, and there's maybe 3 grams of sugar from the carob, so this is a great alternative to chocolate milk. Chris ____ " What can one say of a soul, of a heart, filled with compassion? It is a heart which burns with love for every creature: for human beings, birds, and animals, for serpents and for demons. The thought of them and the sight of them make the tears of the saint flow. And this immense and intense compassion, which flows from the heart of the saints, makes them unable to bear the sight of the smallest, most insignificant wound in any creature. Thus they pray ceaselessly, with tears, even for animals, for enemies of the truth, and for those who do them wrong.
