Guest guest
Thought I'd let you all know that I made the NT onion-cranberry compote for Thanksgiving and *everyone* loved it! I think it was even better the 2nd day. The only downside was that pearl onions are expensive and take a while to blanch/peel. It's heavier on onion flavor than cranberry, so if you wanted pure cranberry it might disappoint. I also made a raw cranberry/orange/ginger/maple syrup relish that was good, tart, & refreshing. People liked it, but the NT compote got the rave reviews. I'd wanted to try the suggested recipe with apricots, but couldn't find any in time. Thanks to everyone for your input!
