NT onion-cranberry compote recipe

Thought I'd let you all know that I made the NT onion-cranberry

compote for Thanksgiving and *everyone* loved it! I think it was

even better the 2nd day. The only downside was that pearl onions are

expensive and take a while to blanch/peel. It's heavier on onion

flavor than cranberry, so if you wanted pure cranberry it might

disappoint.

I also made a raw cranberry/orange/ginger/maple syrup relish that was

good, tart, & refreshing. People liked it, but the NT compote got

the rave reviews.

I'd wanted to try the suggested recipe with apricots, but couldn't

find any in time.
