Does anyone know if it is bad to use coconut when you are HYPERmetabolic?

I'm male, 5'8 " and 135 pounds. I've never weighed more than 140, and can't

gain any weight unless I stuff myself silly. My diet has varied over the

years, from 80% junk food, full of lots and lots of sugar, vegetarian, NT,

etc, and nothing has ever caused me to gian weight even to the point of

normal. I am moderately muscular, but have in the low single digits for body

fat, 3 or 4% I think. Some internet symptom survey I filled out told me I am

hyperthyroid, though I'm not skinny to the point of looking undernourished.

Does anyone know, for that matter, what I can do to correct this problem and

maybe gain some weight?

Chris

Hello, i know i keep saying it (and i apologize) but read How We Heal by

DOuglas on (North Atlantic Books)

You might like to get in touch with AGM Foods here in Australia

(www.agmfoods.com) and get onto their Grains & Greens Powder. I put on 4kg

in a matter of a week taking large amounts of it, plus i feel btter and

better the more i take (i work out a fair bit). If you do contact them, i'd

strongly recommend you ask for a copy of their testimonials (they should

send it to you for free), and read '12 point on grainfields' by john ray. If

you do decide to buy some, they have a distributor in canada, and may have

one in the states.

This stuff is awesome, i can't give it enough praise!

I put all my clients on it and they get wonderful results no matter what.

If you do try it, please let me know how you go with it, chris

Hi! Funny how I have the opposite problem, and I am not hypothyroid. When

I read that post, I was thinking that maybe I should eat MORE coconut oil.

It's a shame we can't trade a little and both be in the middle somewhere.

:)

No chris there is no problem for someone in your position using

coconut oil. The HYPER in hypermetabolic they refer to is RELATIVE

to the millions of folks who are so very HYPOmetabolic. CO is not a

stimulant drug, it cannot force your body to be more metabolic it

simply meets a basic fundamental need and in turm metabolic activity

improves. You have no worries re: CO
