Guest guest
Rebekah, When you make your butter candy, how much butter do you use in a recipe that uses 1 tsp of vanilla. Just wondering because you had listed all the ingredients in " parts, " that is, proportions to one another, but listed the vanilla in teaspoons, and absolute amount. I want to try it this weekend. Would a teaspoon of vanilla go to a stick? A half cup? Thanks very much for what seems like a great recipe! Chris ____ " What can one say of a soul, of a heart, filled with compassion? It is a heart which burns with love for every creature: for human beings, birds, and animals, for serpents and for demons. The thought of them and the sight of them make the tears of the saint flow. And this immense and intense compassion, which flows from the heart of the saints, makes them unable to bear the sight of the smallest, most insignificant wound in any creature. Thus they pray ceaselessly, with tears, even for animals, for enemies of the truth, and for those who do them wrong. Guest guest
I haven't made the butter candy in a while, but I think I usually used between 1/2 to 1 cup of butter, probably more like a cup. I never really measured any of the ingredients, so you will have to adjust it to taste. Hope that helps!
