I discovered something I was running this morning in the elevator

while I was telling someone all about how I got our pool to stay open

an extra week. It was an agenda: I wanted to be recognized as the

person who got the result. No one said a word about it, but it was as

clear as if there were a little canary flying around in the elevator

with a sign around its neck saying KEELY'S EGO.
