Guest guest
hehe... the raw liver drinks in NT, if you can stomach it!!! ;-) ____ " What can one say of a soul, of a heart, filled with compassion? It is a heart which burns with love for every creature: for human beings, birds, and animals, for serpents and for demons. The thought of them and the sight of them make the tears of the saint flow. And this immense and intense compassion, which flows from the heart of the saints, makes them unable to bear the sight of the smallest, most insignificant wound in any creature. Thus they pray ceaselessly, with tears, even for animals, for enemies of the truth, and for those who do them wrong. They probably aren't all that bad.. probably better than raw oysters. Kind of wierd, since my understanding is that it is very common to eat oysters raw, but that is by far the grossest thing I have ever eaten. Sally said to put lemon juice on them-- but I actually think they taste like lemon juice themselves. However, they have a horrid texture to me for some reason, and I like them cooked even less. I usually eat one a week anyway for trace mineral insurance and zinc. Don't really mind them, gross as they are. Maybe it's a psychological thing, knowing that they're still alive.
