It may look like your donations aren't doing very much, and that we're pretty

helpless, because we cure tiny handfuls of people while the epidemics rage. But

at least our door's open, and the person who can end the epidemics can walk in.

Your contribution has partially enabled this. Your contribution is a concrete

manifestation of your good wishes and intentions, which link with ours, and

generate a real field of attraction that might actually bring the person who can

end the epidemics, once it reaches a sufficient level of strength to do so.

We'll know when that day comes, because the person will get in touch with us,

and start ending them. Anybody can end the HIV epidemic in Africa, for example,

with what we've given them, as long as they have the will and the means. And

this would be a rare person indeed.

Not something I've been able to do, and not something I expect of you. But I do

expect you to give what you can. And maybe a little more. We have to stretch,

reach and to wake up.
