Guest guest
I've never sprouted anything before, but want to sprout some wheat for bread, which I was planning on doing tonight. I have a couple of questions. NT says to use a window screen on a mason jar. Is it absolutely necessary to use this, or are their other options? Would a coffee filter also work? How much do you sprout grains before using in bread? Just enough so it _begins_ to sprout, or until it grows into a full-length sprout? I imagine all the phytates are broken down once it begins to sprout, and it seems full sprouts would be hard to make bread out of. Thanks for any help, Chris ____ " What can one say of a soul, of a heart, filled with compassion? It is a heart which burns with love for every creature: for human beings, birds, and animals, for serpents and for demons. The thought of them and the sight of them make the tears of the saint flow. And this immense and intense compassion, which flows from the heart of the saints, makes them unable to bear the sight of the smallest, most insignificant wound in any creature. Thus they pray ceaselessly, with tears, even for animals, for enemies of the truth, and for those who do them wrong.
