Guest guest
Again, some more interesting tidbits about honey (again edited by me). Bianca ______________________________ Too hot! 38 to 39 degrees C is 100.4 to 102.2 degrees F. Hive temperature is 93 degrees F., even if the outside temperature is higher....... Bees will bring water droplets to the hive and plop them on it, and fan them with their wings to cause evaporative cooling to keep the hive at 93 degrees F (= 33.9 degrees C) or below. The bees are smart. ...................honey that has never been heated above 93 degrees F has unique enzymes not found in honeys heated above that temperature. This is the honey that does not contribute to insulin problems; in fact (according to AV) is able to cure diabetes, and has the maximim protein digesting capability. Here are the conversion formulas for Centigrade to Farenheit temperatures: F = (9/5)C + 32 OR F = (1.8)C + 32 C = (5/9)(F - 32) OR C = (.56)(F - 32) ________________________________________________________________ Sign Up for Juno Platinum Internet Access Today Only $9.95 per month!
