Guest guest
The problem here, though, is that you first have to insert the nasogastric tube. This is a potentially highly dangerous procedure and should be done only by a physician or a registered nurse operating under the written order of a physician. In my nursing career I've inserted many such tubes and I can tell you that no matter how many times you do it you still have to pay very close attention to what you're doing. I can't speak to the urine thing because this is the first time I've heard about this readministration technique. It does sound a bit on the bogus side to me, though. If Tamiflu supplies are limited as they mostcertainly will be, consider giving the patient two Tamiflutablets at the same time, collect the patient’s urine andre-administer it to the patient via naso-gastric (NG) tubeor orally. If managed carefully, this approach means thatyou can completely treat a patient with only 2 Tamiflutablets.
