Guest guest
Dear Gaye, Personally, I'd avoid all soy 'cept the type I mentioned. Better safe than sorry. I have a good intuitive sense that soy milk is very hard to digest... there may be a danger too, of genetically-modified soybeans as the source. There is so much information... mostly against, some for... about soy protien. Here's what you can do: Go to the search engine called Dogpile.com, and enter " Dangers of Soy " , or just click on the address below: (I'm hoping that our list doesn't block it out!) http://search.dogpile.com/texis/search?start=12 & q=soy+caution & fs=web & to=five & p=3\ & brand=dogpile & format= love and light! Guest guest
If you read ER4YT you will find out that Type B and AB can have dairy and A and O may not. Soy is on the beneficial list only for A but listed as a good dairy alternative for type O. I wouldn't suggest eating all day long morning and night but I certainly wouldn't avoid it either. It is a good source of calcium and protein. *smiles,
Guest guest
D'Adamo in Live Right for your type, dispells the dangers of soy concept! The soy milk I use is organic non-GMO, but I am aware that some people have had negative reactions to soy. Guest guest
My experience with Os and soy is not the same as As. Most Os don't see the same benefits. As far as calcium, there are other ways for Os, one of them is to eat a HIGH PROTEIN diet. Use bone meal, eat sardines/mackerel, green leafy veggies and exercise. Hope this helps. love http://www.foodforyourblood.com Soy " factor " Does this mean that soy milk & tofu are Avoids for Type O's ???? Please may I ask where your source is. Been debating if I should drink soy milk for menopausal relief of occasional hot flashes, and calcium intake. Guest guest
Only a good alternative if you are a secretor. If you don't know secretor status, try eating soy and see how it makes you feel. I tried eating it for years, way before the ER diet. It always gave me major gas and abdominal cramps. Then I find out I'm a non-secretor and so that explains it for me. Its an avoid! --Lilla If you read ER4YT you will find out that Type B and AB can have dairy and A and O may not.
