Guest guest
Hello OE users. I have set my format preferences for font and color the way I want them, but they don't always come up the way I set them. When I respond to a message or start a new message, I don't get the font and color I selected. But I do sometimes when writing certain people. What's going on? Can you help? Thanks, Rainy Sue rainysu@...
Guest guest
OE is based on Microsoft Word. If you hit 'reply' to a message, you will get the font and color of the previous message, where if you start an entirely new message, you will start with your settings. At least that is what I think is going on.... Notes (I noticed that we now have 3 Judy's - so I'll call myself Notes. How's that?)
Guest guest
Rainy Sue, Have you set your preferences under Mail Format, so you always reply using your font? This is the only thing I can think of. Guest guest
Rainy, Have you done the following: 1) Under Tools/Options/Send, have you unchecked " Reply to messages in the format in which they were sent " ? 2) Under Tools/Options/Compose, have you set you mail " Compose Font " and mail " Stationery " ? ----- Original Message ----- From: " Rainy " <rainysu@...> " Arthritis " <RA-Support > Sent: Monday, February 19, 2001 4:54 AM Subject: [ ] OFF TOPIC / Outlook Express Help > Hello OE users. Guest guest
, I had done the 2nd one but not the first one! Thank you, I fixed that! It seems to have worked using the font I want, but not the color. ~Rainy Sue > Rainy, > > Have you done the following: > > 1) Under Tools/Options/Send, have you unchecked " Reply to messages in the > format in which they were sent " ? > > 2) Under Tools/Options/Compose, have you set you mail " Compose Font " and > mail " Stationery " ? > >
