Guest guest
Greetings my friend, I am glad to see you on the boards in regard to our er new member. My patience with this rubbish is wearing thin. Of course, these pop medicine fanatics become Typhoid 's, passing on the flu to all and sundry. I am sure that the reason that the AMA is taking this seriously is that it is very worried about just the eventuality that you mention. The consequences of this idiocy in a pandemic are too dire to contemplate. What needs to happen, of course, is that all of the parents who have lost children due to pop medicine stupidity need to form groups to warn parents of the danger. Educate? Objectivity? You are using words that are not in the pop medicine fanatics vocabulary. > > Of interest is that when people who eschew vaccines get the flu they become like a kind of typhoid for those around them. I can understand that people might have some safety concerns about vaccines, but I think people have to be sensible at the same time. I shudder to think what might happen if smallpox broke out in the US, or even worse the bird flu we're all concerned about. People need to educate themselves with the facts about vaccines and must objectively and carefully weigh arguments both pro and con before making a truly informed decision. Just to say things like " it causes this or that " without hard evidence to back up that claim just doesn't make sense to me; yet many people take this point of view.
