For every extra 1/5 teaspoonful of hand sanitizer used by a hospital,MRSA rates fell by 1%,

hmm, so one bottle per hospital cuts MRSA rates by >90% ???

Can't we better use open boxes with alcohol to dip the hands into ?

The alcohol needs to be diluted with water since full strength alcohol is very hard on the skin and could actually cause small breaks in the skin which would defeat the whole purpose of the sanitizer. The recommendation here has been that the sanitizer should contain at least 40% alcohol.
