Guest guest
That does help for digestion, but makes acid relux worse. I thought it would help there, but not for me. Rose
Guest guest
I drink 1 tsp of vinegar in tea as soon as I start to bloat, after meals. When I bloat it is normally 2 and sometimes up to 4 hours after a meal. But when I had a massage a week ago, it was within an hour. Drinking a glass of apple juice twice times a day like morning and noon time are very beneficial and apples. I have to be careful not to over do apple juice. Liquid Soya lecithin is a food item sold in health food stores, (NO TAX) and its thick. I think thats why it works so well. It took away all that rumbling in my stomach all the way down. I've found it very soothing immediately. 1-3 tablespoons a day is what I've been taking and mostly in the evening, although when I first started taking it, I would put it in my oatmeal with a teaspoon of honey. I don't think I could take it without honey because its so thick and tasteless. Boy, I noticed a big difference in my stomach within just a few days and I still take it when my stomach acts up. It's kept me eating, sincerely. Funny, I can't eat greasy, oily foods either, but I can take mineral oil and lecithin. They're my life savers. Yes the mineral oil and honey is for irregularity, 3 tablespoons of mineral oil and honey just to give it taste. My medical book said " Mineral oil does not significantly interfere with the absorption of vitamins in the intestinal tract, especially when taken just before going to bed. " So this is good. That's the Medical Encyclopedia by Med book Publications. Of course it also helps that my daughter is a nurse. Maybe you don't have the irregularity problem with yours, but I have until now. You have to understand that I started out thinking this was colon, but when investigated by my doctor and the surgeon, they say no its gallbladder. Go figure! I also started having the wafers for breakfast with a glass of water, and their good. My husband has tried them and he was surprised at how good they were. Yes, you can follow them with food. Wow, what a difference in the way I feel. I hope you find what works for you!
