Guest guest
You are possibly experiencing low blood sugar. I am diabetic and that is what happens to me when my blood sugar drops. I am on the pills and am during better by controlling things by diet. After lightheadedness and headache, I get the sweats, the " shakes " and experience confusion and frustration because I lack the ability to speak. When my sugar gets back to normal my headache worsens a bit and I am extremly fatigued. I just want to curl up and go to sleep. deb in New Orleans >>> <pbgmmg@...> 06/19/00 07:47AM >>> Hi Lynn, I have had symptoms of lightheadedness and headache at times, and sometimes I feel shaky, which doesn't make sense, since I am eating good protein and vegetables. Of course, up until last week I was eating lots of chocolate every day, and pita bread (whole wheat)! There is something else that I hesitated to put on here, but what the heck! One day I had a lot of dicomfort in the lower abdomen, and then kept passing large amounts of mucus. (Now, doesn't that make everyone's day? I hope you're not eating your breakfast!) :-) It only lasted one day, and I have felt really good since. Wheat had been a mainstay of my diet, along with dairy. In the last week I think I've lost a couple pounds (I don't have a scale, but the clothes are fitting looser). I'd like to lose a few more, but don't want to get very thin, so I'm going to be sure and include a lot from the neutral list. I'm going to try and follow the supplement recommendations, but I still don't understand about no vitamin D. I am postmenopausal, and at risk for osteoporosis (went into early menopause at 37), and my doctor has said that vitmain D is essential along with calcium. I'm wondering what calcium supplements everyone is taking? You are receiving this email because you elected to subscribe to the mailing list.
