Guest guest
Dear Feistyness, I find losing weight on the o-diet harder than on Atkins. When a few kilos creep up I have to move closer to high protein and only green veg and cut my fruit (In me, the suger in fruit triggers a need for more and more illegals on both eating methods) I try to eat the O-way when my weight is OK but I need to cut carbo's especially simple carbs and any sugar and starchy stuff if weight is the problem. Marielize weight? Hi everyone, I am a O, and i'm new to all this, have gotten about halfway thru the book. Just wondered if weight loss is really as good as it's stated? I've been on this list for a bit, and i've not heard anyone comment on weight loss. I know that is not the main reason a lot of you are on this plan, but it is for me *g*, all the good stuff that happens to your body are just perks, and good ones at that in my head right now. Just wondering,,thanks feistyness __________________________________________________
Guest guest
Hi! I have been following the diet for about 2 weeks and have experienced a 5 pound weight loss. This does not surprise me as this is much lower carb consumption than I have had in my adult life. My tummy is much less bloated as well! sherry mccartney <sherrymccartney@...> wrote: HI, I have lost weight with being on the diet. I have lost about a stone which is all I need to lose as I start looking too thin in the face. I still need to lose it in the hips and thighs but that will have to go with exercise. >feistyness wrote, >I am a O, and i'm new to all this, have gotten about >halfway thru the book. Guest guest
Actually the same happens to me. Carbo is a big problem for me and my stomach becomes huge so when that happens I just stick to my meat and veg and eggs for breakfast. I am suffering at the moment as I went out saturday and had a few glasses of red wine. Ugh. Had a great time though. Probably the problem is the amounts of carbo's that are neutral in this diet. Even though they are neutral some of us have problems with the amount of carbo. Sherry >Marielize said, >I find losing weight on the o-diet harder than on Atkins.
