Guest guest
Hi Lynn: I took that test a while ago on his website, and forgot all about it! Thanks for reminding me. I recommend taking the full MBTI, if you can. Abbreviated versions don't do it justice. Jung's work is complex, the MBTI attempts to simplify it, further attempts to simplify it can ... mislead people. In my years of working with the MBTI, I have come across numbers of people that have been mis-typed and the results can range anywhere from frustrating to catastrophic. Guest guest
Where does one find the whole version? and in what way can it be catastrophic? I found the simplified version too " simple " for me to put much stock in it. Ann RE: Re: Meyers Briggs/INFP Lynn wrote: > Dr. D. has a mini version of the Meyers > Briggs info on his website. Guest guest
> Lynn here: Good point, M.! When my husband and I > took the test it > was with a certified Meyers Briggs counselor(?)/Testor(?). Thanks for mentioning this, Lynn. The counselor is an important part of the process. I happen to be qualified to administer and interpret the MBTI. It's a hobby and a passion of mine since I stumbled across it years ago. I don't like the on-line versions. BTW, it's quite common for INFP personality types to take more of an interest in personality type theory than other types.
