I know that's pretty close to my limit. As for the newer drugs, enbrel which seems to be the best, is a moot point because it's practically unavailable..And i also wonder what the reason would be for switching?i'm just not sure..but unless someone could make a persuasive case based on efficacy and less side-effects, i'd stick with what i know.. It always feels irritable in there, even when I'm not talking. Ikind of " hack " when I cough. This seems to be worse at some times than others, but has never entirely gone away. the pulmonologist did tests.. PFTand Cat a year ago.. the intial " guess " was a blockage in the bronchial area or else adult=onset asthma.. They discovered a couple of small nodules on my left lower lung which they said wwere scar tissue probably from pneumonia. A couple of months he redid the CAT and said it was still the same size.... Keeps giving me prescriptions for Adivair and right now has me taking Protonix in case it is Acid reflux.. ( have been dxed with that). I do'nt know what else to do ...I have so many problems going on it is hard to focus on them all at once and have to end up battling doctors. (snip) ..As for knocking off periodically, you > shouldn't notice a significant increase from inflamation over 1 > month.. I know that's pretty close to my limit. When I was taken off at the time of my gall bladder surgery, i had to go one week before and two after without metho...I did ok till the surgery but after that I did have to go in for a cortisone shot to hold me as I started getting bad quickly. (had had cortisone in my IV during surgery) I am not being switched.. just another durg added on because the reiter's is starting to get more out of control and the sjogren's is really kicking in now too...
