I have been with this group pretty much since its inception and you both are very tolerant of all of our differing views from yourselves but none of us like to be subject to language such was just posted. We have a unique support group and it is my opinion that the success of this group was determined by your wise use of censoring. I too jump into the round of praise for the work of the moderators. As some of you know, I run several " Church " lists as well as moderate others, you would think that posts of that ilk would never hit a " church " list. Well, guess again. They do happen when a thread is allowed to deteriorate into name calling and flaming. Some times the worst offenders are Bishops!!!!!!!!!! Of course one only has to watch broadcast TV to see where we are headed. In Canada, methinks the CBC rates programs by the number of foul, four letter words, the more the better. I appreciate your passion. You have your opinion Censorship and moderation on an email list are 2 different things. I have been doing this a long time and these type of interchanges do not help people who are new to this. I always see a rush of unsubscribing when this happens. I didn't see a rush to unsubscribe after the conversations with Carly. I'm sorry you feel oppressed. I don't 'hate' very many people. Its not an emotion I choose to have. But I can despise what they do. Sometimes decisions are made that all don't like. So sorry I didn't tell you to leave. I just made a statement - for those who don't like how I moderate, they can start their own list. Your view people are being bullied may not be accurate either. This is an email list, not a grammer school playground. Continue the discussion about vaccines and not personalities. I can't remember them all, but the last one that comes to mind was my experience with an Amish family. Just a nice little story I told, but I did mention that " the Amish don't vaccinate " is not a good argument. Maybe that's what did it.
