due to your size, you should be monitored by a professional. Otherwise try

to make sure not to eat avoids and eat lots of protein.

love

water and protein intake

HI - okay for those wise and wonderful's on this

list..

I've seen lots of suggestions for those that are

" mildly " " overweight " but what about a person that is

about 5'5 " and 360 or lbs. (and extremely out of

shape).

I mean I don't think they could eat their weight in

grams of protein and drink 360 oz of water..

I agree, Wish. A person that heavy would need to eat

themselves thin by eating lots of veggies and sticking

to a very high protien diet. They would need to drink

plenty of water to protect their kidneys and liver. I

would be concerned about high blood pressure and heart

disease, as well as diabetes. But, it takes a lot of

calories to maintain that much weight, so if they eat

the high protien diet, they should lose fairly easily,

and probably should not try any really hard exercise.

Walking every day and increasing the length of time

gradually is what I would recommend until they lose

about 100 lbs. I have known some very obese O's who

did very well on an almost all protien diet and added

a few carbs along the way as long as they continued to

lose.

Wish,

I would say that I am obese personally. Recommended

weight for my 5'7 height is 145. I am currently at

235, and started this diet at 254. I am extremely out

of shape also. I am slowly working my way into an

excersise program, as I do not want to get out there

and do something that is going to jar my body all up

and pull muscles.

I am going slow.....avoiding avoids, drinking lots of

water and eating lot of protein and veggies. I am not

so wise, and only wonderful to a few people. *LOL* But

I am a firm believer in this way of eating.

said you should be monitored by a doctor, the

thing about a lot of doctors is they want to tell you

to eat a typical food pyramid type diet. Been there

and done that.....it doesn't work for an O blood type.

I would go in and get all check out, then tell you

doctor you want to start this diet and see if he/she

is open to that, if nothing else make sure you have

your BP checked weekly.

Excersise you should start slowly by walking even if

it is for 10-20 minutes a day. It is important to keep

moving. I think the only thing that saved me from

getting more overweight is the fact the job I have I

stand and walk around for 8 hrs a day.

I have kept a post from one of the gals from Dr.D's

site, as it was such an inspiration to me. She was

over 400 pounds when she started this diet and

basically housebound from her weight. She shared her

begining story and it was so uplifting to see how just

eating this way can change someone's outlook and

health in a short time.

There is no magic pill for weight loss or health. This

diet is so easy to do once you realize and identify

the foods that are toxic for your O body. I think it

is very deceptive for people to see those Subway

commericals where this guy lost all this weight by

eating subway and walking, because what they do not

tell you is that he had his stomache stapled. This is

not the way to go to true health.

Good luck,

Dawn
