Anyway, BILTONG requires daily sacrifices of grass-fed beef (in your

He has truly written as a channel of the divine BILTONG!

Wow. Most of those chemicals I haven't even looked into... I'll leave that

for the Mr. Researchs of the world. I know that corn, whether modified

starches or high fructose syrups or plain corn solids or sugars will be

enough to trigger headaches and unhealthy food cravings, as well as screw up

metabolism by interfering with insulin. Wheat... I know wheat can also by

itself cause headaches, grain with opioid properties it causes a burning

sensation in the gut in addition to its agglutanating properties and

increase of gut permeability (the increase in gut permeability also

increases the bodies direct exposure to all the other terrible nasties that

inhabit all of these processed foods, so these substances actually magnify

each other's negative effects...). Right there, two " natural " substances

(definently hybrid modern crops with unnatural genetic and chemical

attributes) which could be the cause of many undesirable symptoms, and then

all those strange chemicals which we know next to nothing about... all

together, what kind of cumulative effect do these substances have, even in a

person whose body is stronger and cleaner due to a good diet? It takes weeks

to recover from this kind of exposure. Fast food... a fast ticket to

physical deterioration and insanity (metabolic, physiologic, etc. kinds of

basic insanity).

BTW, the intestines contain more neurons then the spinal cord, the nervous

tissue in the gastro-intestinal tract is called the " enteric nervous system "

and, much like our CNS and brain/mind it uses the same kinds of receptors...

meaning it is effected by the same hormones, well, neurohormones as are used

by the other nervous systems in our bodies; the molecular mimickry found in

grains (which helps explain their addictive nature and euphoric qualities)

function like neurohormones, the sense-blunting effects of wheat and

drug-like properties effect our enteric nervous system, our CNS and our

brain, the pain in our guts is in some way the same as the pain in our

heads, and this is a possible reason (haven't read an article that says all

this for sure but I've read isolated articles explaining wheat's effects,

wheats properties and Dr. D's own theories about this major avoid, it makes

a lot of sense to me...) for the painful symptoms described.

From a few years of experience from the purity of the BTD I can't seem to

trust much, even " natural flavors " allows for a frightening list of

ingredients to be included in a " food " ... substances similar enough to MSG

to cause problems for example.

I don't like soy and I don't like oats either. I just found out about the

oats. It has been over a week and my lower abdomen is still too bloated, I

know it is the oats.

Anyone who wonders about soy... there is http://www.truthaboutsoy.com/ and

don't forget the valuable www.westonaprice.org to learn all you need to

about glycine max in its modern form. I don't have nearly as much of a

problem with soy products that have been prepared in the traditional ways

which reduce or eliminate its anti-nutrient properties, products that have

been prepared in the proper, traditional ways included quality tofu, tempeh

and miso. Soy protein isolates, concentrates, hydrolized soy, tamaris and

soy sauces and tofus and soy flours processed in modern, faster ways are

unsafe foods. Please do not eat them. Any of them. Stay away from them!

I love the Biltong bit. I know diet is serious but you make it very enjoyable. I

also enjoy all the information you find. It's hard to believe all those things

like rice noodles and chicken that look like we should be able to eat them have

so many avoids in them.

More on 's Migraine (BILTONG IS ENRAGED!!!)

Well,

I was cruising past my local 's today and thought of Joyce, so I

went in for a little " field research. " Boy was that scary. Anyway, I

got a copy of their nutrition facts, and I was wrong about the MSG.

Fortunately, I was able to uncover many other culprits in our search for

the source for your migraine. I will list the ingredients, and let

, Axel, and anyone else who wants to tear them up.

Mandarin Chicken Salad - (Iceberg, Romaine, Spring Salad Mix, Mandarin

Oranges, Diced Chicken)

Roasted Almonds

Crispy Rice Noodles

Oriental Sesame Dressing

Mandarin Oranges - Mandarin Oranges, Water, Sugar, Citric Acid (flavor

protector).

*Of course oranges of any kind are avoids, but you probably knew that.*

Diced Chicken - Chicken Breast with Rib Meat, Water, Seasoning (Salt,

Dextrose, Maltodextrin, Natural and Artificial Flavoring [Wheat Flour,

Egg, Soybean], Autolyzed Yeast Extract, Sugar, Fructose, Onion, Disodium

Inosinate and Guanylate [flavor enhancers]), Corn Starch Modified, Soy

Protein Concentrate, Sodium Phosphates (emulsifier), Fructose.

*Whew! And, they call this " chicken " . Ha! This " chicken " alone could

easily have been the source of your migraine. Dextrose, Maltodextrin,

Wheat Flour, Fructose, Disodium Inosinate and Guanylate (very similar to

Monosodium Glutamate or MSG and a sure source of a migraine), and Corn

Starch Modified are all nasty AVOIDS!*

Roasted Almonds - Almonds, Salt.

*Well, at least the almonds are " safe " .*

Crispy Rice Noodles - Bleached Enriched Wheat Flour (Niacin, Reduced

Iron, Thiamine Mononitrate, Riboflavin, Folic Acid), Partially

Hydrogenated Vegetable Oil (Soybean and/or Cottonseed), Rice Flour, Corn

Starch Modified, Salt, Water.

*You are no doubt as surprised as I was to discover that rice flour is

only the third ingredient in these " rice noodles " after two MEGA-AVOIDS

(BILTONG IS ANGRY!!!): Bleached Enriched Wheat Flour and Partially

Hydrogenated Vegetable Oil. The added dose of Corn Starch Modified

didn't help matters much, and I doubt that Thiamine Mononitrate is the

greatest form of Thiamine for your body.*

Oriental Sesame Dressing (OH! This'll be FUN!) - Soybean Oil, High

Fructose Corn Syrup, Soy Sauce (Water, Wheat, Soybeans, Salt), Water,

Sugar, Distilled Vinegar, Brown Sugar, Pineapple Juice Concentrate,

Sesame Seed Oil, Rice Wine Vinegar, Sesame Seeds, Mustard Seed, Ginger,

Salt, Potassium Sorbate and Sodium Benzoate (preservatives), Spices,

Xanthan Gum (thickener), Propylene Glycol Alginate (emulsifier), Garlic,

Calcium Disodium EDTA (flavor protector).

*(BILTONG IS ENRAGED!!!) AHEM! WELL! I seem to see a pattern

developing! A patten which resembles a cornucopia...a cornucopia of

Whew is right ! I am finally over the migraine ! I am so glad for you and the

people on this list ! I feel right at home with all of you.

I am not shocked by their using something similar to MSG with a different name

it seems like if there is a way around something " they " will find it. I am going

to remember these new names! Thank you for your field research!!!! I appreciate

it. No more fast food for me. Ever! The chicken was so tender I wanted to know

how they did it!

Your letter made me laugh and laugh! And I needed a good laugh after the last 6

days..

Another example of deception is titanium dioxide- it is made from coal. Years

ago coal tar was used , but the govt. banned it . They still use it , but under

a different name. We export coal to Canada where they make iron and a by product

of this is Titanium Dioxide. This is imported back into the US and used in

everything from food (it makes everything whiter like cake icing) also

toothpaste and soap to just name a few things. I live near one of the biggest

mines in the US and they sell most of their coal to Canada. Another new and

acceptable name , but the same old product. Or very close to the same!

I heard about the whitening power of TD when I started making soap and found

most soapmakers use it. It's the ONLY way to get a white bar of soap. Since the

skin is the largest organ in the body it is believed by some that soap is the

biggest cancer causing substance we use.

I am wondering how many other products are deceptive......

Now I will get off my soapbox :)

Thanks Again and Cheers ,

Joyce

DUST!!! it was terrible. I spit it out and and threw

it away. Lessoned learn, in a crunch I will order the

NY strip from the bar in our shopping ctr.
