Guest guest
In addition to my previous email, I will add the following support for colostrum's use in Type O's and A's: Excerpted from The Ask Dr. D'Adamo Question For 22 October 2001 TYPE A WITH OCCULAR ROSACEA Lactoferrin is associated with estrogen: high levels enhance its activity, low levels suppress it. This explains perhaps why many post menopausal women suffer from dry eye syndrome. There are commercial supplements of lactoferrin, though they are nothing but encapsulated forms of the milk constituents whey and colostrum, both of which can be obtained from a variety of sources. Although dairy can be problematic for type A, these fractions are usually well-tolerated. If you find they are aggravating a mucous condition, you can try taking them with a rennett tablet (remember " Junkett " ?) From the BTD Message Board: Clostridium difficile - O ns Posted By: Ann - O ns Date: Friday, 14 December 2001, at 4:50 p.m. My DD is just back from a stay in Thailand and has been sick for 6 weeks and lost over 10 lbs- and probably has Clostridium difficile. Now this pretty well messes up the GI tract. Anyone have any experience with it. Try bovine colostrum Posted By: D'Adamo Date: Friday, 14 December 2001, at 4:56 p.m. In Response Clostridium difficile - O ns (Ann - O ns) It appears to be very effective for C. difficile, at least in AIDS patients. Get the New Zealand stuff. It's the best. Cheers, Mr. Research
