Guest guest
The following is a url from Quack Watch on hydrogen peroxide infusions. http://www.quackwatch.org/11Ind/pittman.html While I take alternatives myself, unfortunately, the field is filled with less than ethical persons. People should always stick with conventional medical treatment. I find Quackwatch to be somewhat dogmatic, however, their work exposing fraud and puncturing inflated claims by alternative practices is excellent. You should only try alternatives with the knowledge of your Doctor. There are more studies being carried out regarding alternative treatments, for example, I found one regarding Gingko Bilboa and the sexual side effects on SSRI's on a message board from depressed Doctors. I tried it and it did work. However, and this is important, I went to see my Doctor first and he said that my sexual disfunction was not serious and not caused by a serious disease. Only after I had things checked out by my Doctor did I try the Gingko Bilboa. Connie, I am glad you had a good trip -- you are right, you never know what God has in store for us. Glad to hear you had such a good time, you deserve it! They know what causes Norwalk and the cruise ships must be cracking down on their food handlers and being more careful about letting passengers touch the food in the cafeteria. However a good pocket knife is your best defence against disease while on shore, it is amazing how many people ignore the simple precaution of peeling fruit and drink only bottled beverages. I remember one in Japan called Pocari Sweat. To me the name suggested hog sweat. (Priscilla, I mean no disrespect to our porcine friends)l Despite the name, it was a canned beverage and very good, I must have drunk about 50 cans of the stuff. I made the mistake of leaving a tip only once. What an embarrasment. The waitress chased me three blocks down the street. Regardless, I usually find a good tip gets you really good treatment the next time you eat in the restaurant and you get the menu for the locals with the cheaper prices. I did this in Greece once and the prices were less than half what I paid the day before, of course I left an even heftier tip.
