Re: coping alone with As and Fibro

I 've been divorced for seven years raising my two kids and dealing with my

illness. I wonder if anyone else here in the group is in a similar

situation, how she/he deals with the situation, especially when it concerns

the effects of our anger and powerlessness on others.

You arent alone anymore. There are many of us out here that suffer from many

differant types of ( ARTHUR! ) & other diseases. I divorced in 98 because my

ex couldnt accept, believe or give me support on my really bad times. I travel

alot so she found comfort for herself in other men. I've since remarried to a

wonderful woman that supports me and understands the way I suffer. She goes

to all my doc's with me so she hears & see's everything that I suffer through.

This is a wonderful group. There are many people here who understand what you

feel and go thru. I've AS & PA along with other unwanted side effects, but

the drugs keep me going for now. I hope that someday I'll go into remission. As

all of us do I expect. Anytime you need someone to just listen myself, or

someone in this group will be there for you. I know thats not as good as having

a

mate that knows, understands & supports you in anyway possible. Dont give up

hope! I believe with the right meds & support you will get better in time.
