Guest guest
Hi Everyone: Hope you are all enjoying this beautiful weekend where ever you are.... Quick question. Just received my MRI results (Hip and Lower Back) which were taken to rule out sacroiliitis. In the report, my rheumie notes the following: 1)Hip area: There is no abnormal marrow signal, cortical destruction, or joint fluid to suggest active sacroiliititis. There are small bilateral osteophytes at the anterior sacroiliac joints, representing osteoarthrosis. 2) Lower back: Evaluation of the neurovascular structures reveals intact fat planes surrounding the nerves and visualized vessels. There is no muscle atrophy. There is mild loss of T2 signal within the disc spaces of the lower lumbar spine representing mild degenerative disc disease. Impression: MRI of the sacroiliac joint reveals no active sacroiliitis. There is mild bilateral arthosis. What's this mean? Mild arthritis? Is this common w/ Reiter's Syndrome? Thanks,
