Guest guest Posted January 6, 2008 Report Share Posted January 6, 2008 Hi Kate What is Valtrex, is it otc or is an rx? I have been on Folic acid 1mg twice a day for a few years. Things have improved but very slowly. My prime doc here agreed that I should wait one week to restart the MTX shots and also delay my Orencia infusion for another week. I have dealt with mouth sores for many years but this was the absolute worst case. They were deep in my throat and felt bigger and more inflamed. I have a mouthwash that is mixed my by pharmacist called " Miracle Mouthwash " that is both anti fungial and antibacterial. Just being away from home and exposed to a lot of germs was more than my system could handle. Hi Had not heard that before about the glycerin with the lidocaine. Amazing the things we learn from each other here. Will give it a try. It is bad enough beeing sick, but having this unwanted mouth sores is the last straw. Today I was finally well enough to go to church. I need to keep my calendar lighter for awhile and just rest. Being away from home was fun but being sick was too difficult.
