Guest guest
never got them on the tongue, only on the inside of my lips. from 1995-99 i had them every few months, one or two at a time. from 2000 to the present, much less frequently, maybe one or two a year, if that. back in 1995 i tried everything to get rid of them (and they could be quite painful), that was just before i was diagnosed with reiters syndrome. anbesol gel, all kinds of magic pills and solutions, and basically none of them worked very well. now i just leave them alone if i get them and they usually go away in a couple of days. brandnewday13 <brandnewday13@...> wrote: I'm wondering if anyone else besides me is plagued with cold sore like lesions on their tongue? I have never in my life ever had a cold sore and now I had 2 in December that last for a good 10 days each and now one on the bottom side of my tongue. They are never on my cheeks just the tongue. What do you all do for them? I just went out and got some Anbesol gel and it helps for maybe 10 minutes, but then of course my mouth is numb like I had a shot of Novacain from the dentist and all I taste is the cherry flavor. I guess it certainly won't hurt for me to lose a few pounds either because eating is next to impossible and pointless, with a numb tongue that doesnt taste anything. I'm bummed too because not thinking tonight, dummy me ordered a Spicy Italian Papa pizza for the girls. I took one bite and I was done. Had to spit it out. Anyone else care to whine with me? --------------------------------- Never miss a thing. Make your homepage.
