Guest guest
my experience with uveitis is this: onset of symptoms, see opthalmologist asap, prescribe predforte a number of times per day for a week (usually every two hours while awake), taper the drops off slightly for a second, third and fourth weeks, then back for a recheck. depending on severity, homatropine will be prescribed to dilate the pupil as well. a couple of days is usually not enough to stop the inflammation and if the drops are not taken over a longer period, then the inflammation can easily come back again and very quickly. the whole treatment regimen takes about a month from start to finish. however that can vary between patients of course. this has always worked for me. good luck. james --------------------------------- Never miss a thing.
