Did they test your Cortisol levels too? What about your other

hormones(Estradiol, Progesterone, and Testosterone)? What other symptoms

are you having? DHEA impacts other hormones.

Good article, I know nothing about their testing nor am I promoting

it. Just info on hormones.

They did a whole hormone panel since they were trying to figure out

why my skin went crazy in such a short period of time, but they said

everything came back normal other than the elevated DHEA so the

dermatologist wasn't sure what to make of it. The only things I could

find online that would cause elevated DHEA levels are adrenal gland

tumours and polycystic ovary disease. Since I have endometriosis,

I've been monitored in that department and know I don't have

polycystic ovary disease.

Only my skin and swollen face are new. My lips also keep swelling up

so it looks like I've had collagen injections gone wrong or

something. Other than that, the main problems are:

-Joint pain

-Extreme fatigue

-Persistent nausea

-Hair loss

-Breathlessness (this has been getting a lot worse as of late)

-Worsening lower back pain

The changes in my physical appearance are so drastic that people who

know me (friends, co-workers, family) have asked what is wrong (or

some of them have put it less nicely, like " What the **** happened to

your face? " ), which is frustrating.
