Guest guest
I talked to the nurse at the dr office and she said she's never heard of anyone that they have treated getting lymphoma from taking humira...and has been with the rheumatology group for many years. I know most medical professionals tend to pooh-pooh the idea of people and support groups on the internet as being reliable. But I beg to differ... true there are some of those kind around, but I KNOW Rick and our group are not in this category. So I will be very appreciative and interested in anything you guys have to share with me. I am at half the dose I was on metho... symptoms from early on are coming back---reiters and sjogrens symptoms. PLUS meniere's. I had menieres when I was 18 but did not know until recently that it is an immune system disorder that is not " curable " and is episodic like the others. My balance is not good at all right now. It isn't anywhere close to as bad as it was when I had it all those years ago.. but it keeps me on the alert to make sure I dont turn too quickly or I will fall. My mental acuity is being affected too--probably peripherially related to inflammation I would guess. I feel very lost and confused right about now and don't really know how to deal with this stuff. Guest guest
Hi Liz We will keep you in prayer for the Humira. Just keep track of your symptoms before you start it and then closely monitor how you feel after starting. Main concern is for infections, like upper respiratory, etc. Just remember God is your healer and protector. Keep us posted on your results. Hugs Priscilla
