Guest guest
Here are the list of meds that I have been on. flexeril 10mg , slow to notice any effect, to fleeting. Elivil 25 mg , I don't feel depressed, so whats the point. celebrex 200 mg , I saw each of these pills twice. ultram 50mg, Worked to some very little effect. Lyrica 50mg. Hmm...seeing sideways is ok if I'm laying down. Other meds taken without long lasting positive results. Extra Strenth Tylenol 500mg, I can still taste this. Calcet for leg cramps, well this makes me sick for sure. Aleve 220mg. no effect, is this a sugar pill ? Equate Extra strenth pain reliever 500 mg. nothing I notice. Tylenol Arthritis 650mg. tastes stronger then the 500mg. Advil Ibuprofen 200mg. nothing I can tell. Glucosamine Chondroitin MSM. Ok this is boring me.... Borage oil , three months is a long time to wait only to find no difference...... other herbal stuff. Hmm where is my money going ? lol. So whats left ? ... Ok I have a sense of humor about me. But of the list about the only thing that has given relief the pain for any length is a Lyrica 50mg 3 times per day, and ultram 50mg 2 times per day. the side effect is the world is laying down, and 3 hours after taking them the meds wear off and the pains hits back. Plus a strange effect of feeling like there is something on my back crawling around under my skin. like a bug about 5 inches long. I can't understand why the meds wear off so quick. The doctor I am seeing says that my body is metabolizing the meds too fast. I have taken with food and without food. Same results. He says that upping the Lyrica is out of the question. So what is left ? What works for you ? What meds have you tried ? what experience or side effects did they have on you ? Would love to here from anyone with Fibromyalgia that is on meds.
