Guest guest Posted June 6, 2008 Report Share Posted June 6, 2008 Hi, all, My VItamin D levels have been testing frighteningly low, even though I take supplements. Anyone else have this problem? My doctor, who was sharp enough to get me tested in the first place, now wants me to take 3000-4000 IU per day and get 20 minutes of sun exposure (wearing as little as possible and without sunblock daily. What bugs me is that if I'm not absorbing the D, what else am I not absorbing? I'm gluten- free and just went through controlling a systemic yeast infection, so I don't know what else I can do to heal my " gut. " Any comments?
