Guest guest
Mucus is produced an irritation to the airway called " oxidative stress " . The lung is a big user of glutathione, the master antioxidant that is low in cancer patients. When glutathione is low the toxins are not broken down, so irritation continues as free radical cascades, inflammation, and airway restriction. You can reduce airway restriction without reducing the irritation or free radical damage, by using prescription drugs like salbutamol or by breathing the fumes of menthol, peppermint oil, that kind of thing. Glutathione is available by prescription in a nebulizer. Glutathione is poorly absorbed but is also made by every cell from dietary precursors. These are most plentiful in undenatured whey powder. For peer-reviewed information on using undenatured whey to reduce several types of cancers and many other diseases, see the glutathione references: http://tinyurl.com/glutathione references all good, Duncan > > Dear Members and Friends, > > I have Throat-cancer and can only " eat/drink " Liquid since approximately 7 Month, but since today I can't get rid of my Mucus which is at my Air-ways I'm really scared to suffocate on it, does somebody know how to clear it up to get rid of it the best? > Thank You Friends >

Guest guest
- Broccoli and other cruciferous veggies destroy developing cancer cells. Blend them into a soup. bob Dear Members and Friends Dear Members and Friends, I have Throat-cancer and can only "eat/drink" Liquid since approximately 7 Month, but since today I can't get rid of my Mucus which is at my Air-ways I'm really scared to suffocate on it, does somebody know how to clear it up to get rid of it the best? Guest guest
Hello G,There are some good glutathion precursors available in the form of capsuls easy to swallow such as " immunical " and " maxone ".I got the maxone from www.maxinternational.com. Also a good undenatured source whey protein would be " optimum nutrition 100% whey " i love the coffee flavor and mocachino flavor. I use the whey protrien while my mom and dad ( mid 80's ) like capsules more they use the " maxone " of max internationalI hope i was able to help!Be wellSaudSAUD H. Guest guest
I use London Drugs undenatured whey isolate. Guest guest
The MAXGXL glutathione approach is n-acetylcysteine (NAC) and alpha-lipoic acid. Because NAC has a very short half life unless it is a timed formula, meaning you ahve to dose every 4-5 hours, and free-form cysteine toxicity issues arise even at a relatively low dose for some people, it's better to not use it as a supplement. As a supplement you'd need 500-600 mg NAC every 4-5 hours to prevent glutathione from plummeting, which stimulates infection of all types. The wheys are a better idea. all good, Duncan > > > > > > Mucus is produced an irritation to the airway called " oxidative stress " . Guest guest
Saud, regarding MAXONE, the company states " RiboCeine is shown to be 300% more effective than NAC (N-acetyl-l-cysteine) in raising liver glutathione levels " . http://mxl.myvoffice.com/pdf/en/maxone_productsheet.pdf It doesn't come up much in peer-review so it's hard to validate even that it's better than NAC, but it better be; however, at a paltry 125 mg dosage you probably won't see any of the toxic side-effects associated with NAC either. But you might at 10 capsules. 10 capsules? 125 mg x 10 caps is only 1.25 grams of cysteine, that is, if the ..125 figure refers to the cysteine content; if it's the cysteine plus the ribose that is listed, there's even less cysteine in the formula than that. Normal daily dosing of cystine and other bonded cysteine for the purpose of glutathione increase for people who are ill is 1 to 3 grams per day. So, assuming it is bioavailable, the company packs about 1/10 of a normal daily glutathione-enhancing dose into a capsule. D-ribose-L-cysteine is 1/4 as potent as other glutathione prodrugs and in this data, showed to be not even twice as potent as NAC. This research groups D-ribose-L-cysteine and N-acetyl-L-cysteine at the bottom quartile, saying, " Cataract formation was completely prevented by the co-administration of the L-cysteine prodrugs 2(R, S)-methylthiazolidine-4®-carboxylic acid (MTCA) and 2(R, S)-n-propylthiazolidine-4®-carboxylic acid (PTCA) in two divided i.p. doses totaling 4.5 mmol/kg. 2-Oxo-L-thiazolidine-4-carboxylic acid (OTCA) was nearly equipotent, yielding only one cataract in 16 mice, but D-ribose-L-cysteine (RibCys, 5/16) and N-acetyl-L-cysteine (NAC, 9/14) were much less effective " . <http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC1991291/?tool=pubmed> Given that, something doesn't seem right about the company's claims, just as something was previously not right about their claims for their MAXGXL. Undenatured whey gives a much higher glutathione precursor value and digestible form, and has " no upper limit " to dosing. Sulforaphane unlocks 200 genes associated with glutathione production. Even the amino acid cystine increases glutathione. All these are foods, which may be better-appreciated than are directly marketed prodrugs from a company that makes unsubstantiated claims Amgenex DNA provides a suite of superfruit extracts and specially-concentrated sulforaphane, and it contains the Amized process for what that's worth. Here are some clinical trials of " normal " sulforaphane: <http://clinicaltrials.gov/ct2/results?term=Sulforaphane> all good, Duncan
Guest guest
D-ribose-L-cysteine had less than 50% the potency of n-acetylcysteine in that experiment, which is 1/6 as potent as the company claimed for it. This is the company that promotes their NAC also as better than something else. Sorry about my bad math the first time. all good, Duncan
